Carolina: The idea had been quietly forming for years. I had become known as the person who could find the gift no one else would think of. Bespoke R.M.Williams booties for a new baby, a rare small-run bottle for a whisky lover, flowers that arrived looking genuinely spectacular. I loved finding that one thing that made someone say, “Where did you find this?”

The defining moment came after my twentieth anniversary with the same music company. A bunch of flowers was left on my desk with the price sticker still attached. It wasn’t about wanting something expensive. It was the lack of thought that stayed with me.

Cecilia: We realised there was room for a different kind of store. Somewhere personal, considered and full of things with character. Hunted + Co grew from our shared love of beautiful design, meaningful gifting and objects that make everyday life feel more special.

Carolina: I spent most of my work life in the music industry, working across events, artist experiences, travel and executive gifting. It taught me that the smallest details are often the ones people remember. A gift can be modest or extravagant, but it should always feel as though someone really considered the person receiving it.

Cecilia: My background spans science, startups, digital strategy and designing corporate websites. Outside of work, I have always loved painting, drawing and making things by hand. Creating something from the beginning gives you a deep appreciation for detail, craftsmanship and the time behind a beautifully made object.

Together, we bring instinct and analysis, storytelling and structure, creative chaos and the occasional spreadsheet intervention.

Considered means there is a reason for something to be here.

We look beyond whether an item is simply attractive. We consider how it feels, how it is made, who created it and whether it will continue to hold its appeal long after the season has changed.

Cecilia has always been drawn to things made thoughtfully and designed to last. That perspective has become central to Hunted + Co: fewer, better things that are genuinely worth keeping.

Considered does not mean overly serious or restrained. We love art, wit, individuality, unexpected design and objects with a little attitude. It can still be joyful. In fact, we think it should be.

Nothing earns its place by merely being “nice”.

We look for quality, originality and that difficult-to-define pull that makes you want to wear something immediately or find the perfect place for it at home. Cecilia’s artistic eye naturally gravitates towards form, texture and craftsmanship, while Carolina instinctively considers the story, the experience and the person who might receive it.

We are drawn to independent makers, small-batch production and brands with interesting stories, particularly those creating with longevity and responsibility in mind.

Our final test is simple: would we be genuinely excited to give it, receive it or live with it ourselves? If the answer is not an immediate yes, it does not make the edit.

A memorable gift makes the recipient feel seen.

It tells them you noticed what they love, remembered a passing comment or understood something about their personality. It does not need to be the largest or most expensive option. It simply needs to feel selected especially for them.

We believe the best gifts create a moment before they are even opened. The anticipation, presentation and story behind the gift are all part of the experience.

There is a level of honesty that probably only sisters can get away with.

We know each other’s strengths, we challenge each other and we care deeply about what we are building. We do not always arrive at an idea in the same way, but we usually recognise the right answer when we see it.

There are spirited conversations, many voice notes and a fair amount of finishing each other’s sentences. Underneath it all is enormous trust and a shared vision for Hunted + Co.

We believe the most sustainable purchase is often one that is selected thoughtfully, made well and kept for years.

Cecilia’s love of making things has given us both a real respect for the materials, skill and hours behind an object. Wherever possible, we seek out small-batch production, responsible materials, independent makers and brands that value craftsmanship over volume.

We want to offer an alternative to the endless cycle of buying, discarding and replacing. For us, consideration and sustainability naturally belong in the same conversation.

We hope it feels like discovering a store you want to tell someone about, although perhaps not everyone.
