What does the Bergamot & Anjou Pear Extra Large candle smell like?

Juicy Anjou pear and bergamot up front, a soft powdery heliotrope in the middle, and a warm finish of vanilla bean and musk. Sweet and fresh, without being sugary.

How long does it burn?

Over 250 hours. Trim both wicks before each burn and let the wax melt evenly across the top to get the most out of it.

Why does it have two wicks?

The extra large size needs two wooden wicks to melt the wax evenly across the wide brass vessel. It also means a bigger scent throw and twice the gentle crackle.

How big is it?

It measures 122mm high and 135mm wide and weighs 1.0kg. Big enough to be the centrepiece on a dining or coffee table.

What is the candle made from?

Natural coconut soy wax and two wooden wicks, hand-poured in Australia into a reusable brass vessel.

What is the seeded paper for?

Every Hutwoods candle comes with seeded herb paper. Once you've finished the candle, plant the paper in soil, keep it watered and you'll grow your own little herb garden.

Can I reuse the brass vessel?

Yes, and you'll want to. Wash it out with warm soapy water once the candle is finished. It's a great size for a small plant, keys, jewellery or fruit.
